Quintura for Kids – intuitive and safe search engine for kids
March 15, 2007 - Quintura, a visual search start-up backed by early Skype investors, announced the re-launch of its visual search engine for children based on own index
- Quintura for Kids www.kids.quintura.com.
Quintura for Kids is the first visual search engine from Quintura that is based on its own index.
The web index of kids-related information has been created using the Quintura's neural networking technique.
The same technique is being used to power www.Quintura.com.
Quintura for Kids is designed specifically for children and utilizes the Quintura cloud,
an interactive tag cloud for easy navigation and search for kids-related information on the Web.
The intuitive nature of the cloud allows kids to refine their search by mousing over or clicking on keywords and phrases that appear in the cloud.
The interface also allows for predefined searches by clicking several graphical icons on the site.
"Since its initial release last December, Quintura for Kids started generating a regular demand from web users, especially,
from parents and teachers who recommended it to their kids." - said Yakov Sadchikov, co-founder and CEO of Quintura.
"In an effort to continue bring value our users, we are re-launching Quintura for Kids with more detailed kids' tag cloud,
higher speed and better relevancy of search results."
