Adding mapped words to your query
To add a word displayed on the visual map to your query, just click it.
Adding words missing on your map
If a word you want to add is missing on the map or you fail to find it, double-click on the empty place of your visual map to display the query box, and then enter the appropriate word, several words, or phrase (words in quotation marks).
Excluding results containing a certain word
To exclude results containing a certain word, point to this word on your visual map, and then click the Out button.
Excluding results containing a word missing on the map
If a word you want to exclude is missing on the map or you fail to find it, double-click on the empty space of the map to display the query box, and then enter the word preceded by the minus “-” sign.
Replacing query words
To replace a query word, right-click it on your visual map, and then click
Edit query
. In the query box, replace the selected word with another word or several words, and then click ENTER.
Finding more results for your query
If your search does not yield satisfactory results even after mouse manipulations on your visual map or if your results are too few, click
Refresh
located above the
Results
pane.
Speeding up your searches
Quintura Search downloads found results in portions. You can set the number of links to download in the
Options
dialog box,
General
tab. The less the number, the faster your searches. The more the number, the more adequate your visual mapping.
