If the neural net is Quintura’s brain and soul, the visual map is its face.
Quintura has a dynamic, sensitive face. Any stimulus triggers a word shift on
the visual map. After “reading” documents downloaded in response to a query,
Quintura Search seeks out words that are semantically related to the query, and
maps these words; creating a tag cloud. The mapped words are hints. By clicking
a hint, complex search queries are created. You will notice that the mapped
words are displayed in different font sizes; the font size depends on the
importance of the respective word.
Help me build my query!
When sending a query to a search engine, we often forget that words have
different meanings in different situations. Hints on the Quintura Search map
help you determine the exact meaning of your query. When you click a hint on the
visual map, it is added to your query and the results are filtered accordingly.
When you exclude a word from the map, all results containing this word are
removed.
Moving up to best result
Version 2.0 makes web searching still easier and even more intuitive. Search
management is possible with a mouse-move rather than a mouse-click. Move your
mouse pointer to any tag inside the cloud and instantly see relevant results.
The map freezes for a moment so you can examine the expected result list before
adding the word to the current query.
