Quintura for Web Publishers (coming soon)

  Overview >

Although Quintura Search 2.0 Publisher Edition can be used as a web search client, it's basic mission is different. Quintura Search 2.0 is a utility for making personal web indexes and arranging search services through isolated websites.

Search through a website

A long-awaited opportunity to search through your own website or several websites! Just build an index and start searching. Now you can obtain or build on your own visual map for the indexed site and search in it.

Enhanced visual map

Now you can see not only words but also phrases and word collocations on your visual map making it still more readable and intelligible.

Visual map editing mode

The visual map editing mode gives you the tools for making your visual map more relevant and clear by:

  • adding missing words;
  • removing "excess" words;
  • changing the value of words;
  • merging words into phrases;
  • grouping word forms;
  • changing word relations.

The editing tools are intuitive and easy-to-use. Once you activate a tool, instructions for using it are displayed on the right-hand pane.

Saving visual maps without search results

Save you map into a file without saving results. The output file is compact, so you can easily send it by e-mail or share it in another way. The results are easily downloadable at a single mouse click.

Knowledge bases

Edited and saved visual maps may be embedded into Quintura Search and used as knowledge bases. A knowledge base is a source of corrected information on a certain topic. A knowledge base acts as a filter by purifying information downloaded from the Web and helping the user build the right map in response to each query.

Color schemes

Starting from version 2.0, you can change the color of each element on your visual map and the background area. Customize Quintura Search in a way you like!

Exporting results into XML

Save your search results in the XML format and use them later on or place them on your web site.

More intuitive interface

Now you can view found pages directly in the Quintura Search window (in the Results pane). Each page is opened on a separate tab. Query words are highlighted, so you can easily find them on the page. To return back to the list of found links, you can just click the Results tab over the lower border of the Results pane. You can add a page you like to the Favorites, hide the page, remove the whole web site the found page relates to from your search results. Browsing is also easy  with the Back and Forward buttons.

Mapped queries

Quintura can remember sent queries and map them so that you use these as hints. If the appropriate option is on, as you run Quintura Search, the hint cloud is loaded. Click the mapped hints to build the desired queries.

Enhanced document processing

Word mapping algorithms are improved. Parts of speech acquire different priority co-efficients to improve the quality of the visual map. As a result, once you send an initial query, you get a clearer idea of potential directions for further searching.
